HUNTSVILLE, AL - Hershey Cooperative Telephone and Cable TV, an independent telecommunications service provider in Hershey, Neb., selected ADTRAN to deliver voice and data services over a fiber-to-the-home network. Using ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 with GPON technology, Hershey will migrate from its legacy networking solution to allow business and residential customers in the area access to next-generation, IP-based voice and data services.

“ADTRAN’s Total Access 5000 is an ideal legacy migration solution for independent providers like us because of its ability to deliver multiple, advanced services from a single platform,” says Rex Woolley, general manager, Hershey Cooperative Telephone and Cable TV. “As we look to grow our network, we can rest assured that the Total Access 5000 will allow us to provide the latest high-quality services to our customers and keep up with the ever-increasing demand for bandwidth.”
