Horizon Extends FTTH Footprint into Zanesville, Ohio

Latest expansion will pass over 12,000 area homes and businesses.

COLUMBUS, Ohio--Horizon, an Ohio-based fiber-optic broadband company, is continuing to expand its regional state-of-the-art fiber-optic network to residents and businesses in Zanesville, Ohio. This Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) expansion, which follows an array of builds across multiple other markets in the region, includes 172 miles of new fiber, passing 12,402 homes and businesses in the area.

The extended Horizon footprint will support growing network requirements for users across the region, offering greater speeds and heightened bandwidth capabilities with affordable broadband options while underscoring Horizon’s role as a trusted Midwest network partner.

Today, Horizon operates 6,000+ miles of fiber across Ohio, West Virginia, western Pennsylvania and Indiana, with data center connectivity and backhaul services that span up to Chicago, IL.
