Hotwire Communications Brings Fiber Services to Pelican Landing

BONITA SPRINGS, FL — Hotwire Communications, a provider of fiber optic telecommunications services specializing in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology, is partnering with Pelican Landing to bring residents of this environmentally friendly community Fision TV, Internet, phone and security services. Along with great entertainment and communications services to be delivered to more than 3,300 homeowners, Hotwire will also enhance common area connectivity — including upgrading Wi-Fi services for residents and guests while relaxing at their Island Beach Park. Hotwire will begin breaking ground to lay fiber this month, as it prepares for service activation throughout the community.

Known for its natural beauty, Pelican Landing is one of the largest communities in southwest Florida, as well as one of the largest to sign on with Hotwire Communications. Hotwire will maintain and adhere to the community's environmentally friendly practices, while bringing state of the art technology to its more than 3,300 residences. The PLCA Telecommunications Task Force reached this agreement following an extensive analysis of service provider options, determining that Hotwire is best able to meet the needs of the community both today and well into the future.

Pelican Landing will benefit from Hotwire's unique approach to customer care with a dedicated account manager, dedicated technicians, in-home educators and a personal Internet portal to communicate with Hotwire representatives. Since entering the southwest Florida market just over three years ago, Hotwire has established more than 40 residential property relationships, while also quickly growing its Fision Work and Fision Stay divisions in the commercial and hotel verticals.
