KENT, WA Light Brigade, a provider of fiber optic training, and Next Level Technician, an organization focused on building technician skills, announced a training partnership in North Carolina and South Carolina. The partnership objective is two-fold; addressing the growing demand for skilled cabling technicians and helping young people obtain the training they need to prepare for a career in the industry.

“Next Level Technician has set out to become a premier training organization in the Carolinas. We knew we needed help on the fiber side and that’s why we partnered with Light Brigade," explained Michael Cole, president of Next Level Technician. “They bring so much knowledge and fall in line with our hands-on-training approach. This partnership will allow us to offer a deeper dive into fiber optics.”

Light Brigade instructors will provide Next Level Technician students with a solid understanding of fiber technology and network components. Students will learn by doing the work, with extensive hands-on-training focused on best practices to ensure success in the field. Upon course completion, students will take the ETA FOI certification exam earning their ETA certification.

This partnership will help to empower youth in Carolina communities while adding skilled and properly trained technicians to the labor pool. Light Brigade will provide their renowned training and Next Level Technician will mentor and place students with organizations seeking qualified technicians. Together, we are are laying the groundwork for rewarding careers for youth in the Carolinas.
