LOUISVILLE, KY - Louisville Metro Government is seeking proposals for gigabit bandwidth Internet to residents of Louisville Metro, but other uses also will be considered at this time. The communications services franchises that could be awarded would be non-exclusive for 20 years to allow the operation of Internet in the public right of way. Bid proposals must meet all of the requirements of Chapter 116.70-116.99 of the Louisville Metro Code of Ordinances.
