Louisville MDU Taps AT&T for Entertainment Services

LOUISVILLE, KY - AT&T and WaterSide at RiverPark Place Apartments in Louisville announced an agreement to offer AT&T services over a FTTP network to a state-of-the-art multi-dwelling apartment community.

With the agreement, AT&T offers 100-percent Internet Protocol (IP)-based AT&T U-verse TV, U-verse High Speed Internet and U-verse Voice on an advanced fiber network to designated units within WaterSide at RiverPark Place Apartments. Residents will be able to manage their DVR recordings, and, for qualifying TV customers, watch hit TV shows on their tablet or select smartphones with the U-verse app; the freedom to manage and playback recorded programs from a single DVR on any U-verse connected TV in the house with Total Home DVR; the ability to choose and watch up to four of their favorite channels at one time with the AT&T U-verse My Multiview app; an extensive High Definition (HD) channel lineup; the ability to check the current weather conditions and forecasts in any U.S. city with Weather On Demand; and more.

This initiative with WaterSide at RiverPark Place is part of the AT&T Connected Communities program- a strategic marketing initiative between AT&T and regional or national single-family builders, developers, real estate investment trusts, apartment ownership and management groups, and home owners' associations to provide next-generation communications and entertainment solutions to residents and homebuyers.

AT&T has invested $110 million in its wireless and wired networks in Kentucky through the first half of 2013. The 2013 year-to-date network investment builds on the nearly $650 million that AT&T has invested in its Kentucky wireless and wired networks from 2010 through 2012.
