Merriam, Kansas Opts into Google Fiber

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - The Merriam, Kansas City Council voted to hook up its residents to Google Fiber, making it the seventeenth Kansas City area community to do so. Merriam residents will have to wait out the planning and building process before they can join neighboring communities in signing up for the popular 1 Gbps service.
