MIAMI — Florida East Coast Realty has chosen Atlantic Broadband as the exclusive provider for Panorama Tower, its new, 83-story luxury apartments development on Brickell Avenue in the heart of Downtown Miami. With construction anticipated to be completed by the end of 2017, Panorama Tower will be the tallest building in Florida and the tallest residential tower on the eastern seaboard south of New York City.
Redundant Fiber Network
Atlantic Broadband will invest $4.5 million to create a redundant fiber-to-the-unit network that will ensure that Panorama Tower will have a communications and entertainment services suite that matches its 830-foot-tall global landmark status both today and well into the future.
Advanced Business Services
The company also will offer advanced business services, such as Metro Ethernet that can scale up to 1 Gbps symmetrically and Hosted Voice Solutions that together enable new levels of business productivity to the commercial and retail spaces in and around the property, including a 208-room hotel, 100,000-square-foot medical office space, and 50,000 square feet of high-end retail space.
Multi-screen Digital Entertainment TiVo Service
For residents, Atlantic Broadband will be deploying its multi-screen digital entertainment TiVo service with options for live, recorded, and on-demand television and web content on any screen, wherever a customer may be — including easy access to Netflix. In addition, Atlantic Broadband will offer Panorama residents Internet speeds up to 1 Gbps with capabilities to scale well beyond that in the future. This will enable Panorama Tower residents to download an entire digital movie (14 GB) in under two minutes and to work from their apartments with an Internet connection that is faster than what exists in most modern offices.
Carrier Neutral Cellular Coverage
Atlantic Broadband is also deploying a solution to enable high-quality carrier neutral cellular coverage throughout the complex utilizing a distributed antenna system (DAS) connected to its all-fiber network. This will enable residents and guests to use their mobile devices seamlessly, in and around the property limits, regardless of the wireless carrier.
