OptixSoft Launches Fiberizer App for OTDR Data Analysis

MINSK, BELARUS - Fiber optic software developer OptixSoft announced the introduction of Fiberizer, a mobile app that enables fiber optic engineers to analyze the results of their optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) traces on their iPhones and iPads.

Fiberizer may be the easiest way for fiber optic technicians and analysts to work with OTDR traces on the go, right from their mobile devices – thus reducing the time from fiber measurement to qualified analysis. Seamless integration with such leading cloud storage providers as Google Docs and Dropbox enables testers to share measurement data with their teams and obtain quick feedback if they discover problems in testing. Support for universal Telcordia GR-196 and SR-4731 *.sor format allows users to work with most modern OTDRs.
