Primex Introduces Verge PR2300 NG Media Distribution Enclosure

  • Primex
VANCOUVER, BC — Primex, a molder of plastic injection products, launched its new Verge PR2300, a next-generation media distribution enclosure. Verge PR2300 is specifically designed to streamline brownfield fiber installations, and provide a clean, low-profile, easy-to-install central location for bringing smart home multi-play fiber applications into retrofit residential SFU/MDUs.

The Verge PR2300 saves installers time by simplifying installation, and it offers the end-user a sleek looking alternative to a mess of cables and equipment in a highly networked home or office. “Sleek, slender and simple—that was our aim in creating the Verge PR2300,” said Bob Smart, president and CEO of Primex.  “We have achieved a product that offers a win-win for both installers and end-users.”

Preloaded Plug-and-Play Installation
The Verge PR2300 uses a patent pending rail mounting system to mount products within the enclosure. The adjustable, tool-less internal mounting brackets offer an efficient, preloaded plug-and-play installation. An optional stand and back cover allows for both free-standing and wall-mounted installation without structural modification. The engineered-plastic unit offers 15 times better Wi-Fi signal pass-through than metal enclosures, as well as a clean and elegant solution to device clutter and wire tangle.
