Riverside Public Utilities Chooses Magellan Advisors for Fiber Optic Business Plan

DENVER, CO – The Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) Department in Riverside, Calif., has selected Magellan Advisors, a broadband planning and telecom consulting firm, to assist in the development of a community fiber optic business plan. The plan will identify opportunities to optimize, enhance and expand the Utility’s existing broadband network, to benefit the Riverside community.

Magellan will work with the City and community to create an understanding and awareness of the benefits of the city’s current fiber optic network. Magellan will construct a business plan and action steps necessary to provide next generation broadband services, which will foster economic development, job creation, and business attraction and retention in the community.
