DALLAS & FORT WORTH, TX — Ellum.net announced general availability of its new 10 Gbps fiber network. Initial customers are seeing faster speeds and more reliable service in South Dallas. Ellum.net is one of the first Internet service providers in Texas to upgrade from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps for residential and business customers.
“We are continuing to leverage our experience in building fiber networks within urban business districts,” stated Michelle Reese, CEO. “Our fiber network coupled with our cloud and data center expertise are the underpinnings of our innovation living lab, attracting local genius makers in the IoT and tech arenas.”
“Residents and businesses rely on our high-speed fiber and capabilities to optimally run their applications and systems,” said David Herr, CTO. “Slow Internet speeds, high latency and oversubscribed connections are major inhibitors for business productivity and efficiency. Ellum.net solves these issues. It is our mission to make smarter communities through sustainable innovation starting right here at home.” Ellum.net launched its fiber initiative less than two years ago from the tech warehouse district of Deep Ellum, and now provides services throughout South Dallas.
