Suddenlink Launches Up-to-a-Gig Service in Four Communities

ST. LOUIS — Suddenlink launched its new super fast Internet service offering speed of up to 1 Gbps. The service is available to customers in four communities: Bryan-College Station, Texas; Nixa, Mo.; and Greenville and Rocky Mount, N.C. The up to 1 Gigabit service is a part of “Operation GigaSpeed,” a company-wide plan announced last August. As part of Operation GigaSpeed, Suddenlink introduced a first phase of Internet speed increases in various communities late last year and earlier this year.

In addition to making the up to 1 Gigabit service available, Suddenlink is boosting other speeds. Residential Internet customers in the listed communities with current download speeds up to 75 and 100 Mbps will be moved to services with download speeds up to 100 and 200 Mbps, respectively, at no added charge.
