ORLANDO, FL — TiniFiber, an engineering manufacturer that serves the fiber optic micro armor durability technology market, announced the launch of its portfolio of Micro Armored Fiber cables.

“Our newest introduction, the Micro Armor Fiber, combines cutting-edge technology to deliver a best armored protection with smallest Outer Diameter (OD) in the market today," said Christian A. Peterson III, CEO of TiniFiber. "It is an exciting time at TiniFiber and we encourage everyone to experience these new products for themselves.”

Micro Armored Fiber

TiniFiber’s full portfolio of micro armored cable solutions includes the bulk cable jackets, as well as the company’s new patch cord solutions. The new Micro Armor Fiber is the company’s first official entry into the newly created micro armored category and features the patented stainless “steel tube” coiled protection around the inner jacket of the fiber optic cable. Roman Krawczyk, chief engineer (co-inventor), further elaborates that, “This is accomplished by the proprietary Micro Armor machinery designed to tightly wind the stainless steel tubular coil around the fiber strands. This in turn provides the smallest OD of any armored fiber cable in the market as well as the same OD for current non-armored fiber cables.” The solution offers considerable advantages over the conventional Aluminum Interlocking Armor (AIA) widely used today. TiniFiber’s Micro Armor Fiber cable minimally increases the size of the OD of the basic fiber optic cable.
