Unite Private Networks to Provide Connectivity Solution for Garner Industries

  • Unite Private Networks (UPN)
LINCOLN, NB — Unite Private Networks (UPN) a provider of high-capacity, fiber-based communication networks, announced a new partnership with Garner Industries, a custom manufacturer of plastic-molded and CNC-machined parts. UPN is providing dedicated high-speed internet connectivity to the company.

“We chose Unite Private Networks because they do one thing very well, and that’s provide internet access via a fiber connection,” said John Neukirch, IT manager for Garner Industries. “UPN worked with Garner to install the appropriate fiber connection to the building, sharing construction costs as part of a multi-year commitment from Garner. The result was faster, reliable internet connection with no downtime.”

Fiber-based Speed to Serve a Global Customer Base
With about 65 users on the company network serving a global customer base, Garner required a high-speed internet connection it could count on. Sales, marketing, purchasing, production, quality control, engineering, and finance all rely heavily on connectivity to generate sales, and support daily business activity.

“The entire process was very well handled, and the connection far surpasses our bandwidth needs,” said John Neukirch, IT manager for Garner Industries. “UPN proactively monitors its circuits to ensure we’re always connected to service our customers and maximize employee productivity. No one likes a slow Internet connection, especially with so much business collaboration being done in the Cloud. I’m quite satisfied and so are our network users.”

“Our carrier-grade fiber-optic network infrastructure provides nearly unlimited bandwidth with speeds upgradable to 100 Gbps, which allows our services to easily and quickly expand as the needs of customers grow over time,” said Cliff McDow, regional sales director. “We provide a suite of products including Ethernet, wavelength services, internet access, and dark fiber, and are looking forward to our partnership with Garner Industries.”
