MDUs – multiple-dwelling-unit buildings – have emerged from the pandemic stronger than ever, thanks in large part to a flood of valuable PropTech solutions enabled by high-speed broadband. Now the challenge is meeting the immense demand for additional housing. From winning strategies for dealing with the inevitable speed bumps – the rising cost of capital and materials, regulatory and legislative impositions and more – to capitalizing on the latest 5G and IoT bells and whistles, our MDU committee is assembling an exciting new program to help building owners and managers as well as real estate developers, investors and permitting officials plan the path they’ll follow to bring present and future residents the seamless connectivity necessary to succeed in the post-pandemic economy.
